Prof. Dr. Mohd Redzuan Mohd Sofian is a senior academic industry practitioner with over three decades of international experience spanning strategic management, business administration, biotechnology, human capital management, engineering, and public sector leadership. He currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Trichester Consultancy, and has held multiple C-level and board positions across multinational corporations, Fortune 500 company, government-linked institutions, and international organizations.  

Prof. Dr. Redzuan holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from USA, Doctorate in Education from Europe, MBA from the University of Birmingham UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University USA. He is currently pursuing another PhD in Management. He has further microcredentials and professional programs from recognized institutions including Harvard University, Yale University, University of Cambridge, Stanford University, University of Oxford, and the University of London, reflecting a strong interdisciplinary and global academic foundation.  

In academia, Dr. Redzuan has served as Full Professor and Adjunct Professor across universities in Europe, Asia and Africa, contributing to teaching and curriculum development in areas such as strategic management, leadership, business analytics, business administration, and technology commercialization to name a few. His teaching approach integrates real-world executive experience with theoretical frameworks, offering students exposure to applied decision-making in complex global environments.  

His 33 years professional career includes leadership roles such as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director, Senior Vice President, General Manager and Directors.  

At the regional and international level, Prof. Dr. Redzuan has contributed to policy and scientific advancement through roles such as Country Chairman of the ASEAN Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation, and participation in global initiatives including the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations UK. 

Prof. Dr. Redzuan is an active member of numerous international professional bodies, including the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Chartered Management Institute, and Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, among others. His multidisciplinary affiliations reflect expertise across engineering, management, finance, and policy.
